Pickle Boy started as a personal challenge to make a perfect beach pickle. There’s a particular way that the humidity weaves itself throughout the salt and sun on the North Carolina coast, and that first blast of air-conditioning after a beach session carries an extra gear of refreshing impact. It worked! I started beta testing friends and family, and the strangest thing happened… the kids
loved them as much as their parents. Even the ones who don’t like anything! The pickiest two- year old of the bunch would give an appreciative half-nod and go in for another nibble, often avoiding parental hands. I added chips and relish to the lineup for burgers, dogs, tuna salads
and picnics, and there you have it!
