Boxcarr Handmade Cheese is a family-owned goat farm and cheese making business, located in Cedar Grove, NC. Austin Genke, Dani his wife, and sibling Samantha Genke are the owners. Goat milk, cow milk and mix milk cheeses are produced. There are 100 goats, milking 85 and 15 yearlings on the farm and all of the goat milk goes into making Boxcarr Handmade Cheeses. Cow milk comes from a NC dairy. Cheese varieties are soft bloomy rind, semi soft wash rind, harder aged, Feta and Freshen (chevre).
